Your card shows the tile marks only, never the letters, so it does not spoil today's word.
How to play
Type a word with the on-screen keys or your keyboard and press Enter. After each guess the tiles show how close you were: a dot on green means the right letter in the right spot, a stripe on amber means the letter is in the word but in another spot, and a plain grey tile means the letter is not in the word. The marks use shapes as well as colours, so they read without colour too. You have six tries. Your guesses are saved on this device, so you can close the page and carry on later.
A short guide to Leonida
Rockstar has named six regions of Leonida, the Florida-like state where GTA 6 is set. Every Leonidle answer comes from one of them:
- Vice City: the neon-lit big city on the southeast coast: Ocean Beach, Little Cuba, Downtown and the VC Port.
- Leonida Keys: the tropical island chain in the far south, linked by long bridges.
- Grassrivers: the wetlands of swamp channels and mangroves, where airboats run.
- Ambrosia: the industrial heartland around the Allied Crystal sugar refinery.
- Port Gellhorn: the faded Gulf-coast resort town of cheap motels and closed attractions.
- Mount Kalaga National Park: the wild north, pitched for hunting, fishing and off-road trails.
The confirmed places page lists every named spot with its source, and the interactive map shows where each one is (or roughly where, when Rockstar has not shown it). Nothing in Leonidle is a leak or a guess about the final map.
Questions
How do I play Leonidle?
Guess today's word in 6 tries. The board shows how many letters it has. Type a word of that length and press Enter. Each tile then shows a mark: a dot on green means the right letter in the right spot, a stripe on amber means the letter is in the word but somewhere else, and a plain grey tile means the letter is not in the word (if a letter appears twice in your guess but once in the answer, only one tile gets a mark).
Where do the answers come from?
Every answer is an official name: one of Leonida's six regions, a place on our map that Rockstar has named or shown, or a vehicle or activity from the official trailers and descriptions. Leaked or rumoured names are never used. Names are written in capitals without spaces or punctuation, so "VC Port" becomes VCPORT.
Which guesses count?
Any everyday English word of the right length, or any official name from the answer list. Hard mode asks you to use every hint you have found: green letters stay where they are and amber letters must appear again. Choose it before your first guess.
When is there a new word?
Every day at midnight UTC, the same word for everyone. No word comes back until every word in the list has had its day. Today's Leonidle counts as one of today's dailies, and once 20 players have finished you can see how everyone did.
