Jason Duval

The second playable lead. He grew up surrounded by hustlers and con artists, tried to straighten out with a spell in the Army, and drifted to the Leonida Keys, where he now does jobs for local drug runners while wishing for an easier life.

Where Jason fits in Leonida

Jason is linked to Leonida Keys, Vice City. His story starts in the Leonida Keys, where he does jobs for the smugglers who run product through the islands.

Jason and Lucia

GTA 6 is built around the pair. Rockstar lets you switch between them in the open world, and the official material frames them as partners in crime and in life. How that relationship plays out is part of the story. Media previews of the official gameplay reported that the romance itself is optional^[6]. Read Lucia Caminos's profile.

What is not known yet

Rockstar has not confirmed Jason's full backstory beyond the official bio, nor who plays the character. It has not said how much of the story is told from each lead's point of view. We will update this page from official sources after release on 19 November 2026.
