Scenic Route
Today's drive is on its way.
Today's drive
Time 0:00
- Black pearl: turn here, straight on both sides
- White pearl: straight here, a turn just before or after
- Road: drag between cells to lay it
- × No road: tap a gap to mark it
Drag to draw, tap a gap to clear or mark it. Keys: arrows move, Shift+arrow draws, X marks the gap just crossed as no road, Backspace clears it, Enter checks, U undo.
Drag from cell to cell to lay the road.
Finish the drive to file your time.
Next drive at midnight UTC.
How everyone did today appears here once 20 players have finished.

Today's card shows the grid with its pearls only, your time band, streak and the days to launch; a card for an earlier day shows that day's route. Never today's route.
Draw one closed drive through the grid that passes every pearl: turn at the black ones, run straight through the white ones. 8×8 on weekdays, the 10×10 coast road at the weekend, a 6×6 warm-up, drag to draw, live rule checks, one hint, a streak, personal bests and a spoiler-free result to share. A fan puzzle about an imagined drive, never a real route.
How to play
The grid is an imagined street plan with landmark pearls on some corners. Draw one closed drive through cell centres, up, down, left or right, never crossing or branching, that passes every pearl: turn on a black pearl and run straight through the next cell on both sides; run straight through a white pearl and turn in the cell just before or just after it. Drag from cell to cell to lay road and tap a gap to clear it or mark it with an ×; a cell turns red at a branch or a dead end, a pearl turns red when its rule breaks, the road turns red when a loop closes early, and the checks only ever look at the rules, never at the answer. Undo and Clear all are there when a corner goes wrong. Every drive is checked when the site is built by a solver that runs the same rules you use (the loop never branches, every pearl by its rule, no loop closed early) and then tries the rest, so each has exactly one answer and opens with at least one segment the rules force; the 6×6 warm-ups fall to the named rules alone, with no guessing at all.
Tip one: a black pearl on the edge of the grid turns away from the edge. It needs a straight run of two cells on both sides of its turn, so the leg pointing at the edge has no room; the route comes in along the edge and leaves two cells inward, and a black pearl one cell in from the edge cannot send a leg toward that edge either. Tip two: three white pearls in a row force parallel straights. The route cannot run along all three, because the middle one would then have no turn beside it; so it crosses them side by side, three straights in parallel, and whatever lies two cells beyond each must bend. Then let the loop do the work: a cell with two roads is full, a road with one way on takes it, and a loop never closes while a pearl is still off it.
Everyone gets the same drive on the same UTC day: 8×8 on weekdays, the 10×10 coast road at the weekend, and newcomers can switch on the 6×6 warm-up, which still counts. One hint a day lays or marks one segment the rules force, says which rule, and marks the result as assisted. When the loop closes with every pearl on it the road lights up around the drive, a small car of no make rolls the loop into the sunset and the tour guide signs off with your time; Give up shows the route and ends the day without a finish. The archive lets you play any earlier day's drive and practice drives come from a spare pool; both are marked and never count. Scenic Route is a fan puzzle about an imagined drive: nothing here is a road, a landmark or an asset from GTA 6, the grid is abstract and never a map, nothing comes from a leak, and nothing is presented as official. Questions
What are the rules?
Draw one closed drive through the centres of the cells, moving up, down, left or right, never crossing or branching, that passes through every pearl. On a black pearl (a roundabout) the route must turn, and run straight through the next cell on both sides of the turn. On a white pearl (a straight boulevard) the route must run straight through, and turn in at least one of the two cells just before or just after it. Not every cell needs the route. Every drive here has exactly one answer.
How do I draw?
Drag from cell to cell to lay road, or tap the gap between two cells to mark it: a road segment is removed, an open gap gets an × (no road), an × is cleared. Dragging never scrolls or zooms the page. On a keyboard the arrows move the cursor, Shift with an arrow draws a segment and moves along it, X marks the segment the cursor just crossed as no road (press it again to clear the mark), Backspace clears that segment, Enter checks, U undoes, Escape drops the focus. Undo takes back the last change and Clear all empties the grid.
What do the highlights mean?
A cell turns red when three roads meet there or a road dead-ends with nowhere left to go. A pearl turns red when its rule is broken: a black pearl with a straight run through it or a leg that cannot continue, a white pearl with a turn in it, or a white pearl with the route running straight on both sides. The road turns red when a loop closes before every pearl is on it. The checks only ever look at the rules, never at the answer. One hint a day lays or marks one segment the named rules force, says which rule in words, and marks the result as assisted. Give up shows the route and ends the day without a finish.
What is the warm-up?
A 6×6 grid for newcomers, switched on with the Warm-up toggle (remembered on this device). Every warm-up falls to the named rules alone, with no guessing. It counts as the day's solve; the 8×8 weekday and 10×10 weekend coast-road drives are what the best times are about.
Is this a real map or route?
No. Scenic Route is a fan logic puzzle about an imagined drive on an imagined street grid. Nothing here is a road, a district, a landmark or an asset from the game, the pearls are abstract marks and never a logo, nothing comes from a leak, and nothing is presented as official. For the places the trailers actually show, see the map and the places pages on this site.
