Lot Lines
Today's lot map is on its way.
Today's map
Time 0:00
- 6 Number: the cells its lot covers
- Lot: a rectangle you drew
- Corner: the first tap of a lot
- 6 Red: no number, two, or the wrong area
Tap a corner, then the opposite one (the same cell twice for a 1). Tap a lot to remove it. Keys: arrows move, Space corner, Backspace removes, Enter checks, U undo.
Tap a cell to mark the first corner of a lot.
Survey the marina to file your time.
Next survey at midnight UTC.

Today's card shows the map with its numbers only, your time band, streak and the days to launch; a card for an earlier day shows that day's lots drawn. Never today's answer.
Divide the marina grid into rectangular lots so that every lot holds one number and covers exactly that many cells. 7×7 on weekdays, 9×9 at the weekend, a 5×5 warm-up, live rule checks, one hint, a streak, personal bests and a spoiler-free result to share. A fan puzzle on an imagined marina, never a map of the game.
How to play
The map is a grid of cells, and some cells carry a number. Divide the whole grid into rectangular lots so that every lot holds exactly one number and covers exactly that many cells. Tap one corner, then the opposite corner, and the rectangle between them becomes a lot (the same cell twice for a single-cell lot); tap inside a lot to take it away. A lot with no number, two numbers or the wrong area turns red at once, and the checks only ever look at the rules, never at the answer. Undo and Clear all are there when a line goes wrong. Every map is checked when the site is built by a solver that applies the same deductions you do (a number with one lot left that fits it; a cell only one number can reach), then tries a number's remaining lots only when nothing follows, so each has exactly one answer and opens with at least one lot the rules force; the 5×5 warm-ups fall to the rules alone, with no guessing at all.
Tip one: a 1 is its own lot, and a prime number is a strip. A 1 covers only its cell, so draw it at once. A 2, 3, 5 or 7 can only be a line of cells one wide, so count how far the strip can run before it meets an edge or another number: a 3 beside a wall with a number two cells away has one place to go. Tip two: a cell only one number can reach belongs to that number. Look at an empty corner of the map and ask which numbers could stretch a rectangle of their own size over it without swallowing a second number; when only one can, and only one of its shapes gets there, that lot is forced. Then let the lots you have drawn do the work: every lot you place blocks the shapes its neighbours could take, so the map falls one rectangle at a time.
Everyone gets the same map on the same UTC day: 7×7 on weekdays, 9×9 at the weekend, and newcomers can switch on the 5×5 warm-up, which still counts. One hint a day places one lot the rules force, says which rule, and marks the result as assisted. When the last cell is claimed the lots light up in order, the pennants rise and the harbour master signs off with your time; Give up shows the lot lines and ends the day without a survey. The archive lets you play any earlier day's map and practice maps come from a spare pool; both are marked and never count. Lot Lines is a fan puzzle on an imagined marina: nothing here traces any map of GTA 6 or of any real coast, the lots are abstract rectangles and never a logo, nothing comes from a leak, and nothing is presented as official. For more deduction try the Key Islands, the Tide Loop and the Harbor Lights.
Questions
What are the rules?
The map is a grid of cells, and some cells carry a number. Divide the whole grid into rectangular lots so that every lot holds exactly one number and covers exactly that many cells. No cell is left over and no two lots overlap. Every map here has exactly one answer.
How do I draw a lot?
Tap a cell to mark one corner, then tap the opposite corner: the rectangle between them becomes a lot. Tap the same cell twice for a single-cell lot. Tap inside a lot to remove it; Undo drops a corner you have marked. On a keyboard the arrows move the cursor, Space marks a corner (a second Space completes the lot), Backspace or Delete removes the lot under the cursor, Enter checks the lots, U undoes and Escape drops a corner. Undo takes back the last change and Clear all empties the map. No soft keyboard ever opens.
What do the highlights mean?
A lot that holds no number, two numbers or the wrong number of cells turns red at once; a right lot keeps its colour. The checks only ever look at the rules, never at the answer. One hint a day places one lot the named rules force (or takes a wrong lot away), says which rule, and marks the result as assisted. Give up shows the lot lines and ends the day without a survey.
What is the warm-up?
A 5×5 map for newcomers, switched on with the Warm-up toggle (remembered on this device). Every warm-up falls to the named rules alone, with no guessing. It counts as the day's solve; the 7×7 weekday and 9×9 weekend maps are what the best times are about.
Is this the game's map?
No. Lot Lines is a fan logic puzzle on an imagined marina. Nothing here traces any map of the game or of any real coast, the lots are abstract rectangles and never a logo, nothing comes from a leak, and nothing is presented as official. For the real map work on this site, see the interactive map and the region guides.
